We are looking for Member Care Specialist I on a full-time basis based out of our Corporate office.

Availability:

  • Full-time, 40 hours a week
  • Shifts vary within these times:
    • Shifts 1: Monday – Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)


Job Summary:

Represents California Family Fitness providing members the highest level of service in an efficient and courteous manner by processing payment transactions, maintaining accurate membership records within established policies and procedures, and by contacting delinquent members with payment solutions by guiding them through cancellation process, recommending alternatives to cancellation and ensuring that delinquent accounts are brought up to date by communicating directly with members through daily professional correspondence, and inbound/outbound telephone calls

Accountabilities:

  • Interacts Professionally with members
  • Communicates in a professional manner (proper grammar, punctuation and tone) in both written and verbal communication
  • Provide courteous and friendly telephone dialogue to members. Support is provided via inbound and outbound telephone and email communications
  • Be an effective listener. Based on member needs and the conversation, you will assist members with past due resolutions
  • Be comfortable and calm in resolving issues members may have
  • Displays positive, outgoing, and empathetic attitude
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Results-orientated
  • Takes on any task required to meet or exceed all team objectives
  • Overcomes basic objection or resistance through conversation
  • Works as part of a team
  • Show willingness and flexibility in taking on new responsibilities as business requires
  • Presents healthy alternatives to members to keep their membership active
  • Have awareness of club offerings and specific member packages
  • Follows all health and safety requirements such as, but not limited to, physical distancing, regular surface cleaning, cough/sneeze etiquette, regular hand washing, and not coming to work when sick
  • Promptly and thoroughly reviews all requested health and safety training provided, asking questions for any topic not clearly understood
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role

Restrictions:

  • I understand that if employed in a corporate position, I am ineligible to be considered for a non-management, club-level position.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work proactively on issues, maintain strict confidentiality, and communicate effectively with employees
  • Ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals and office benchmarks as defined
  • Some experience in MS Office and average written communication skills
